Puskas Arena Stadium - A demanding stadium project
For Puskás Aréna in Budapest, we supplied turnstiles, including BA3 and GA2 series units providing a total of 184 pedestrian passages, for our Hungarian partner responsible for implementing the access control system. The project required full adaptation of the devices to the infrastructure of one of Europe’s most advanced stadiums.
Production and installation challenges
During the project, the investor changed the requirements for the access control devices. This required rapid adjustment of the technical solutions without affecting the work schedule or the facility’s commissioning deadline.
Fast and flexible response from Gastop
After our partner reported the issue, we immediately involved our technical team. We analyzed the new requirements, designed the necessary modifications and delivered a solution adapted to the site conditions. The work was carried out under time pressure, with our partner supported at every stage of implementation.
Result
Thanks to a fast response, the installation was completed on schedule and the system met all investor requirements. The project confirmed that in complex implementations, the quality of the devices matters, but so does the manufacturer’s ability to effectively solve issues that appear during deployment.

The stadium holds the highest UEFA category and can accommodate 67,000 spectators. GASTOP turnstiles also supported the UEFA Europa League Final 2020.
